WRITE YOUR LIFE — IN COLD SPRING
Fall in Cold Spring is practically made for storytelling — golden light off the river, crisp air, historic Main Street, and the kind of quiet that makes you want to put pen to paper. Over two immersive days, you'll go from crafting unforgettable first sentences to mastering story arcs, tension, and character depth.
And with Cold Spring as our backdrop, expect prompts that lean reflective and vivid — rooted in place, memory, and the stories you've been meaning to tell.
Clementina has been creating safe spaces and helping writers tell their stories since her early days as a CUNY writing professor in 1998. In 2013, she founded the Clementina Collective, where she's a writing coach and developmental editor. Across our two days together, you'll get her expert + kind + encouraging feedback on your work in progress.
We're keeping this an intimate group so you can hone your voice, sharpen your pages, and leave with real momentum — a story you're proud of and the confidence to keep going. Seats are limited and already filling — don't wait to claim yours.

Whether you’re mid-draft or just beginning, this class offers the inspiration and support you need to help you close the gap between your creative vision and the reality of writing.
Lived experience doesn't automatically equal compelling narrative. The difference between "here's what happened to me" and "I couldn't put it down" comes down to two things: Overcoming the victim narrative and craft — the same elements that make fiction irresistible.
